Throughout this class, you are going to be learning and developing your reading, note-taking, and study skills that are going to help you throughout your upcoming years in high school.

 

In this class you are going to be learning about a variety of subjects that are a part of Social Science. These subjects include all of the following: geography, psychology, sociology, political science, history, current events, and health.

 

You will be participating in individual assignments such as short-response essays, art projects and annotating and then analyzing sources. You will also be participating in group projects such as presentations.

 

Through such activities, class discussions, lecture, and various projects, you are going to be gaining a better understanding of the content area of Social Studies.
